PLEASE NOTE: The cat area is currently closed for 2 weeks from 29 October to 11 November while we manage a cat health incident. Please be assured, the affected cats are all receiving treatment and doing well! You can still book for 12 November onwards but please double check you are booking for the correct date and time.

We will be keeping the cafe side open while the cat area is closed so do feel free to pop in for a coffee, a sweet treat or some cat toys. We need your support now more than ever and everything will help!

Cats and Coffee!

The Catnap mission is to provide a safe, fun and relaxing environment where cats and people can enjoy each other’s company and to find homes for rescue cats. We are essentially a big foster home for rescue cats and kittens to be socialised and adopted 😸

We have a partnership with local rescue organisation Cat Rescue Christchurch and generally we have around 15-18 cats at a time. We also offer great coffee and delicious sweet treats 🧁

We run sessions by the hour in the cat area and the cost is $16 per person for 55 minutes with the cats. Food and drinks can be purchased separately.
